Nanticoke Parents Facing Child Endangerment Charges

A couple from Nanticoke are facing child endangerment charges. Police say 25 year old Kyla Bitzer and 21 year old Raheem Twyman are accused of putting their children in danger. It was Tuesday emergency responders were called to the home on East Green St to reports of an unresponsive toddler. That's when police say the parents told them they were in the basement smoking marijuana. When another child in the home told them the babies were climbing on a table that's when they found the 18 month old unresponsive upstairs. The two other children in the home and are in protective custody. No word on the infants condition. Bitzer is out on bail, Twyman is in the Luzerne County Correctional Facility.
