On Monday, May 13, 2019, 14 people were sworn in by Luzerne County Judge Jennifer Rogers, and are now officially members of a very special group.  CASA. The 14 people were sworn in to become Court Appointed Special Advocates.  To say these people are important in the lives of foster children in Luzerne county would be an understatement.

"Court Appointed Special Advocates offer abused and neglected foster children the one thing they don't have: the undivided attention of a caring adult." -- (From LuzerneCASA.org)

Find out what CASA does, learn how you can become a member, and take the first step toward making a huge difference both in the community and in the lives of foster children in NEPA.
