Bank robbery suspect in custody

UPDATE: Members of the Scranton Police working in conjunction with the Dunmore Police Department and members of the FBI, took Scott KOBESKY into custody on Bank Robbery and other related charges this evening ......



PRESS RELEASE Scott KOBESKY is wanted for the recent robbery of the Fidelity Bank located on Green Ridge Street in Scranton as well as today’s, (12/26), Bank robbery of the NET Credit Union located at ‪119 Mulberry Street‬ also in Scranton. KOBESKY was also involved in a home invasion/robbery that occurred last evening, 12/25, in the Green Ridge Section of Scranton. In the home invasion, KOBESKY assaulted the victim and then stole the victim’s vehicle and other personal belongings. On today’s date 12/26, KOBESKY then utilized the stolen vehicle in today’s bank robbery at the NET Credit Union. KOBESKY is operating a 2007 white colored NISSAN ALTIMA bearing Pennsylvania registration HRG-0274. KOBESKY is also under investigation for his involvement in an additional bank robbery that occurred in Dunmore last week...
