Shootings Under Investigation UPDATE: Victim Identified in Deadly Wilkes-Barre Shooting

A Luzere County man has died after a shooting at a Wilkes-Barre apartment complex.

Authorities say  the victim was hit several times outside one of the buildings at Sherman Hills.

Police say it all started with an argument between the victim and someone in a dark-colored vehicle just before 10:30 p.m. last night.

Someone in the vehicle pulled out a gun and started shooting.

The Luzerne County Coroner says the viictim is 32-year old Devon Stevens of Wilkes-Barre.

Wilkes-Barre Police, the State Police and the Luzerne County District Attorney are all investgating the Luzerne County shooting death.


In Lackawanna County, an early morning shooting is under investigation and police are looking for suspects. It happened near the Scranton/Taylor border about 2am in the 12 hundred block of South Main Ave.

A large group of people were reportedly arguing outside Lucky's Bar when two people opened fire. One person was taken to the hospital for treatment.
