Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Secretary Leslie Richards joined with PennDOT officials and other representatives at the interchange of Interstate 380 and Route 940 in Tobyhanna Township, Monroe County, to highlight the progress of the Resurface PA Initiative. Under ‘Resurface PA’, work is set to begin on September 10 to transform a 6.5-mile stretch of Interstate 380 in Monroe County, a section that was last resurfaced in 2007, into a smoother and safer travel experience for the 34,000 motorists that use this road daily. The project expected to be completed in October.
