Opting Out of Mini Casinos

About 40 percent of Pennsylvania's municipalities are banning a new mini-casino allowed under a two-month-old state law. The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board said Thursday that the list of 1,017 municipalities is final now. They include 10 in Lackawanna, 25 in Luzerne, 14 in Susquehanna, 7 in Wyoming, 5 in both Wayne and Pike and 4 in Monroe Counties.
