Over the weekend Scranton and Old Forge School districts decided to temporarily stop sports and extracurricular activities until further notice. According to officials with both districts in Lackawanna county the decision came from recent spikes in coronavirus cases. They plan to re evaluate the situation next month as to when practices may begin again.
