Scranton School Board Votes To Go Virtual

The decision will be reviewed each quarter.

The Scranton School board held a special virtual meeting last evening. The board approved the start of the school year to be done by virtual learning but the decision will be reviewed each quarter. The on line learning will begin September 8. The Riverside Area School Board in Lackawanna County met Monday and announced they will begin classes in the district September 8 with a hybrid reopening plan.  Parents and guardians in the Wilkes Barre Area School District  have until Friday to submit their choice of learning option for their students. So far attending school live has been the most popular.
