Partial shudown of major road in Susquehanna County to affect traffic

Trucks will have a 20 mile detour, cars will detour 8 miles

Partial shudown of major road in Susquehanna County
SR 106, Clifford, Susquehanna County to Close
 
Dunmore –Starting on Monday, July 27, 2020, PennDOT will be closing SR 106, near the intersection with SR 2050, in Clifford, Susquehanna County for a large culvert replacement. 
 
There will be a separate car, and truck, detour in place for this project.  The car detour will be approximately 8 Miles in length, and will run from SR 106, to SR 2008, to SR 2012, to SR 2014, back to SR 106 . The truck detour will be approximately 20 Miles in length, and will run from SR 106 (Susquehanna to Lackawanna County), to SR 247, to SR 107, to Interstate 81 (Lackawanna back to Susquehanna County), to SR 374, and then back to SR 106.  The project should be completed by the end of August 2020.     
 
Motorists should use caution and seek an alternate route when traveling in the area.
