This coming Friday Lackawanna and Susquehanna Counties will move into the green phase of the state reopening plan from COVID-19. Montage Mountain Waterpark is not wasting a moment. They plan to reopen Friday morning at 11am for the general public and for season members at 10am. There will be a temp check and mask required for entry to the park. You are allowed to bring your own food and chairs into the waterpark as well. The Safe Visit Guide can be found on their website montagemountainresorts.com

The weekend weather cooperated with the opening of the pool at Frances Slocum State Park this weekend and many took advantage of it. Although the pool has a limit of 75percent capacity, many turned out to enjoy. Slides at the pool are still closed and those who are not in the pool are encouraged to wear masks.
