The first five minutes of Lackawanna County's economic development department's online web application brought so many hits, the site crashed. The application for the Business Relief grants would allow $2500 for small businesses to pay rent, payroll and other expenses. There's a limited amount available and officials say 100 businesses in 4 sectors will receive the grants on a first come first serve basis.  The site is  back up and running thru the county's website.  Click HERE for more information.
