Meeting Tonight on New Proposed Wilkes Barre High School

January 29, 2018 - 7:42 am

A meeting tonight will give residents the opportunity to learn more and make their feelings known about the proposed new high school. The plan is to merge Coughlin and Meyers grades 9 to 12 in the new building. Right now Wilkes Barre Area School district officials are negotiating to purchase 80 acres in Plains Township on a area known as the Pagnotti site. Tonights meeting is at 6:30 at Solomon/Plains Education Complex.
