A  Luzerne County Court Jury has found 28-year old Preston Bonnett guilty of second and third degree muder and arson charges in the deaths of three boys in a house fire in Laflin.

Bonnett was convicted of setting the fire at the home in October of 2017. The fire killed three brothers: 16-year old Erik Dupree, 12-year old Devon Major and 7-year old Ezekiel Major.

Prosecutors say Bonnet was angry with the boys mother, who threw Bonnet and his girlfriend out of her home and told police he was involved in credit card fraud.

Bonnett now faces a mandatory sentence of life in prison
