Hazleton Police Looking for Man in Alleged Assault

Hazleton police are on the lookout for a man wanted in connection with an alleged assault in the city earlier this week. A warrant has been issued for Burt Peltz of West Hazleton. According to police he was identified as one of those involved in an incident involving a man found bleeding from the head in the 500 block of West Broad Street this week. Anyone who knows of PELTZ's whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Hazleton Police Department through the tip line . The name or condition of the 62 year old man injured has not yet been released.
