DUQUESNE, Pa. (AP) — Police say a teenager was killed and another wounded when more than a dozen bullets were fired into a car near Pittsburgh.

Allegheny County police say Duquesne officers and paramedics were called at about 1:10 a.m. Saturday and found a car crashed into a telephone pole. A teenager identified by the county coroner as 15-year-old Daevion Raines was found in the back seat with gunshot wounds and pronounced dead. The 17-year-old driver found nearby was taken to a hospital in stable condition.

Detectives said the car had been reported stolen two days earlier. Investigators believe there were several other people inside when it was ambushed in an alley, with at least 15 shots fired into the vehicle as it passed.

The motive is unclear and no arrests were immediately announced.
